Stock Borrowing & Lending is a product that enables Clearing Members, Brokers, Prime Brokers and Custodians to provide for regulated Short Selling, Borrowing and Lending activities in a seamless and efficient manner. Integration with the ZagTrader OMS and EMS allows for regulatory controls such as up-tick rules, pre-Borrow requirement and regulatory reporting of Short sale transactions.
An ability to support multiple asset classes, securities, markets and rules enables properly managed Stock Borrowing & Lending, aggregated Borrow, custom rules and collateral requirements defined at a security or market level. Stock Borrow & Lending is a complex activity that requires tight controls, regulatory compliance and real-time exposure and risk reporting; all fully enabled in this product. Additional features includes multi-layer event, volatility and pricing overlays to actively manage Stock Borrow & Lending transactions while optimizing the fee structure and availability of shares.
